Playing Career

Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1978 and played for the Philadelphia Eagles that same season. Honorable Mention All-American, All-Western Athletic Conference and Academic All-WAC at BYU in 1977. All-State in 1970-1971 at Granite High School where he led team to a third-place finish as a junior with a 10-1 record.

Married to Leslie Nielsen ... they have five children: Brittany, Lance, Jr. and Dallas (former BYU players), Matt (senior on BYU’s roster) and Houston (sophomore on BYU’s roster).
