Coached in 22 of BYU's 29 bowl games ... one of the longest-tenured coaches in BYU history ... running backs coach for five of the top six rushers in program history ... part of the school's national championship team in 1984
Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1978 and played for the Philadelphia Eagles that same season. Honorable Mention All-American, All-Western Athletic Conference and Academic All-WAC at BYU in 1977. All-State in 1970-1971 at Granite High School where he led team to a third-place finish as a junior with a 10-1 record.
