The BYU Athletic Department announced today parking procedures for the coming 2002 football season.
BYU football parking lots 1-6 adjacent to LaVell Edwards Stadium (lots 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49 on the BYU campus map) will be limited to those with parking passes 1-6 until 45 minutes after kickoff for the BYU vs. Syracuse (Aug. 29) and BYU vs. Hawaii (Sept. 6) football games.
These same lots will be limited to those with parking passes 1-6 until 30 minutes after kickoff for the final four games of the season. Only those with football parking passes for lots 1-6 will be allowed to park in these reserved lots. All lots will be closed when full.
General public parking is available in the parking lots surrounding the Marriott Center (19, 20, 22, 23) and a variety of other locations around campus -- including the intramural fields located directly west (across University Avenue) of lot 45. RVs and motorhomes must park in lot 37, located just south of Canyon Road and 1230 North.
Parking passes are available to members of the BYU Cougar Club. For membership information call the Cougar Club at 801-378-2583 or Marriott Center Ticket Office at 801-378-BYU1.
