BYU women’s tennis begins its 2026 fall season Thursday with all nine Cougars competing at the USTA SoCal Championships in San Diego.
First serve between the Cougars and Bears will come at 8:05 p.m. MT on Friday night.
Kitchen earned the Big 12 honor after leading BYU to a win in the John McNichols Invitational.
A dual tournament schedule this weekend will give the Cougars their first action of the fall season.
The Cougars will head to Albuquerque for the first time since 2023.
