Men's Tennis fans can see their team in action as top teams from around the west converge at Provo to play in the annual Cougar Invitational.
The players battle it out on the newly resurfaced blue courts starting Thursday, September 16 and continuing on until the championship match on Saturday.
The team is led this year by a handful of experienced players. Cougar aces Nima Roshan and Chip Hand hope to continue on with their winning ways. Each posted 20 wins in singles play last year. Adding to the Cougar's depth will be the play of senior Ivan Koukurin and juniors Jose Lechuga and Dominik Kaufold.
Coachs are excited by the arrival of Jonathan Sanchez, Jeff Das, Shane LaPorte and Zach Warren. This recruting class is considered one of the best--if not the best--recruiting class out of fertile Southern California.
Teams participating in the Invitational are Boise St., Colorado, Montana St., Utah St., and Weber St., this weekend.
