Le`i Earns Another All-American Honor

Van Nuys, Calif. (June 7, 2006)--Ianeta Le`i picked up another All-American award when she was named First Team Easton All-American.

"Easton-Bell Sports is honored to have such outstanding players and schools represent our products and equipment," said Pam Newton-Fleming, Easton Bell Promotions Manager, Women's Sports. "Selecting our All-American teams are always difficult because we have so many deserving nominees." All-American consideration is based on individual performance throughout the year."

Le`i has been honored by Easton for four consecutive years. As a freshman, she earned Honorable Mention honors, as a Sophomore she was named to the Third Team, she was a Second Team selection as a junior.

"Neta deserves each award she earns," BYU head coach Gordon Eakin said. "She was outstanding this year in all aspects of the game."

Le`i posted a .413 batting average with 20 home runs and 82 RBI while tallying 15 doubles and a .786 slugging percentage.
