PROVO, Utah — A month removed from its first-place finish at the FSU XC Open, No. 2 BYU women's cross country will travel to Wisconsin this week to race in the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday afternoon.
Among the 37 teams scheduled to compete are No. 1 NC State, No. 3 New Mexico, No. 6 Minnesota, No. 7 Washington and No. 9 Stanford. The second-ranked Cougars are also joined by 12 other top-30 teams, including host and No. 25 Wisconsin.

Anna Camp-Bennett, Lexi Halladay, Aubrey Frentheway, McKenna Lee Hansen, Sara Musselman, Anna Martin, Kate Hunter, Haley Johnston, Carmen Alder, Ana Weaver, Julie Sumsion, Madison Moffitt, Rachel Morrin, Sadie Sargent and Lizzie Dildine are slated to race in BYU's final regular season meet on Friday.
The Cougars had 16 athletes race in the FSU XC Open in September, with each finishing in the top-50. Five BYU runners finished in the top-10: WCC Runner of the Month Whittni Orton (1), Halladay (3), Frentheway (4), Weaver (6) and Lee Hansen (10).
Halladay, Weaver, Alder, Sumsion, and Moffitt each set career best 6K times at the meet.
