PROVO, Utah — The Cougars open West Coast Conference play this weekend with a trip to Moraga, Calif. to take on Saint Mary's on Saturday afternoon. 

GAME NOTES

Saturday’s matchup is scheduled for 12 p.m. PDT. The game will be carried live on BYURadio.org and the BYU Radio app. The game will also be streamed on the WCC Network.

LAST TIME ON THE FIELD. BYU last played on South Field Saturday, Sept. 17 against in-state rival, Utah. The game remained scoreless for the first 77 minutes before the Cougars capitalized on their offensive pressure in the 78th minute as Olivia Wade sent a ball into the bottom-right corner of the net for the 1-0 lead. In the 89th minute of the match, Utah tied it up 1-1. Without giving up, a corner from Mozingo found the foot of Wade for the game-winning goal and her first multi-goal game of the season.

COUGARS VS GAELS. The Cougars and the Gaels have played 12 times previously with BYU leading the series 10-0-2. The last time the two teams met was Oct. 6, 2021 when the Cougars beat the Gaels 7-0 on South Field. Cameron Tucker’s career-high night of four goals put her in the record book as she joined only two other BYU athletes to record a four-goal game.
