Rankings Review

Jordan Tiffany’s 45.86 in the men’s 100 fly holds as the second-fastest time in the nation after three weekends of nationwide competition. Tiffany ranks ahead of swimmers from No. 4 NC State and Minnesota and only behind Ilya Kharun of No. 1 Arizona State in the event.

Brad Prolo is the only other BYU men’s swimmer to hold national rankings through two meets. Prolo holds a 0.22 second lead over Jake Magahey of No. 9 Georgia for 13th nationally in the 200 fly at 1:45.15. Prolo’s 200 breast time of 1:58.04 is also good for No. 24.

Each of the BYU men’s relay squads are ranked in the top-35 nationally. Tiffany, Prolo, Jacob Ballard and Luigi Riva combined to clock 3:12.36 in the 400 medley relay at the TCU Dual Meet on Oct. 13 and hold at 13th ahead of squads from TCU and Arizona.

Three of the four BYU women’s relay squads are ranked in the top-50, with 400 free relay the highest at 36th. Lily Flint, Victoria Schreiber, Kara Martinson and Halli Williams combined to go 3:23.92 in the 400 FR at TCU.
