PROVO, Utah – No. 13 BYU women's soccer will take on Idaho State for its final exhibition match on Saturday evening on South Field.
Saturday’s matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. MDT. The game will be streamed on the BYUtv App and ESPN+.
LAST TIME ON THE FIELD. BYU played against Rutgers on Thursday, Aug. 10 in an exhibition match. The Cougars beat the Scarlet Knights 1-0 at the Miller Family Practice Complex, courtesy of an Allie Fryer goal in the 80th minute.
BYU vs. Idaho State
THE BENGALS. Idaho State began its 2023 season with two exhibition games against Salt Lake Community College and Snow College. The Bengals ended their 2022 season ranked No. 8 in the Big Sky conference with a 3-11-2 record. Under the direction of head coach Dustin Downey (second year), Idaho State looks to make a run to the 2023 Big Sky Conference Tournament.
COUGARS VS. BENGALS. The Cougars and Bengals have competed 11 times previously, with BYU leading the series 9-2. The last time the two teams met, BYU beat Idaho State 7-0 at South Field on September 16, 2021. Former Cougar Mikayla Colohan scored a hat trick to secure BYU’s victory.
