PROVO, Utah — BYU men's and women's track and field travels to Fayetteville, Arkansas to compete at the NCAA West Preliminary Round May 22-25.
The top 12 placing athletes/relays in each event at both the West and East Preliminary Rounds compose the field of 24 that will compete at the NCAA Championships June 5-8 in Eugene, Oregon.

"I think we are on a high coming off of really good performances at the Big 12 Championships," said director of track and field Ed Eyestone. "What I'd like to see is that momentum carried forward into the regional meet. We have a lot of athletes that are capable of not only performing well but qualifying for the National Championships. It's all about momentum at this point."
BYU's 52 combined men's and women's entries marks the ninth time that the program has qualified over 50 entries to the NCAA West Preliminary Round.
