MCCARTHY SIGNS WITH DALLAS TRINITY FC

Former BYU women's soccer forward Rachel McCarthy signed with Dallas Trinity FC, the team announced Tuesday morning.

PROVO, Utah — Former BYU women's soccer forward Rachel McCarthy signed with Dallas Trinity FC, the team announced Tuesday morning.

Dallas Trinity FC is a professional women's soccer team competing in the USL Super League, the highest level of women's soccer in the United States. With it's inaugural season beginning August 2024, the USL Super League is comprised of eight teams.

During her time at BYU, McCarthy proved to be a powerful force on the Cougar offense. Playing in 101 games, she scored 21 goals and tallied 18 assists over her collegiate career. McCarthy was a part of the 2021 College Cup finals team and the 2023 College Cup final four squad. 

Following her senior season, McCarthy signed to play overseas with ETO FC Győr before returning to join the Dallas Trinity.
