PROVO, Utah BYU alum and Adidas professional Whittni Morgan has claimed Team USA's third and final spot in the 5,000-meters at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Morgan ran a season-best 15:05.53 to finish fifth in the 5000m at the USATF Olympic Trials on June 24. The two scratches opened up a spot on Team USA for Morgan.

Morgan will compete in the first round of the 5000m on August 2 at 10:10 a.m. MT.
