PROVO, Utah — No. 7 BYU women's cross country travels to Indiana for the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite Friday, Oct. 4.

BYU is coming off of its fifth-straight win at the Autumn Classic as eight Cougars placed in the top 10 and the team finished with 16 points. Jenna Hutchins took the individual win for the second consecutive year and was named the Big 12 Runner of the Week Sept. 17. 

The Cougars now fix their sites on Notre Dame's Burke Golf Course. The 5,000-meter race is scheduled to kick-off Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. MT. The last time that BYU competed in this meet was in 2018 when the squad won the team title finishing with 37 points. 

The women are set to line up against No. 2 Northern Arizona, No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 20 Michigan State.

Following the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite, BYU will head to Madison, Wisc. to preview this year's national championship course for the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals Oct. 19.
