THE COUGARS. BYU last competed against new conference foe Utah in the Marriott Center Friday evening. The Cougars scored a 195.325, the second time they have crossed the 195 threshold this season. BYU scored a season-high 49.025 on floor in front of a season-high attendance of 4,420 fans. Andersen earned BYU’s highest score of the evening with her 9.9 on beam. The Cougars are facing the Thunderbirds for the third time this season, hosting them earlier in January and seeing them at the Best of Utah meet at the Maverik Center.
THE THUNDERBIRDS. No. 29 SUU last competed at the Best of Utah competition at the Maverik Center. The Thunderbirds took home a second-place finish with a season-high score of 196.175. Sophomore Niya Randolph led the T-Birds in the all around with a season-high 39.275. Ellie Cacciola finished tied for first on the Floor with a 9.925.
THE AGGIES. No. 52 UC Davis last competed at a quad meet in California against San Jose State, Sacramento State and Boise State. The Aggies took home a fourth-place finish with a final score of 192.600. Senior Keanna Abraham tied for first on vault (9.875) and floor (9.825). Junior Amelia Moneymaker posted a 9.825 on floor to tie for first, and scored a 38.225 in the all-around to place second.
