BYU jumped on Houston early, with Lily Owens drawing a full-count walk before a pair of home runs by Morrow and Lindy Milkowski put the Cougars in front, 3-0.
Looking to extend its lead in the second, BYU picked up a two-out double from Lauren Flanders, putting runners on the corners after an Owens single, but left them stranded.
The Cougars were able to add another run in the third as Bre Townsend homered to left field, making it 4-0.
Houston responded in its half of the third, tying the game at four on two hits, a passed ball and pair of walks.
Morrow answered back in the top of the fourth with her second home run of the game, a two-run shot to right center after an Owens single for a 6-4 advantage.
BYU moved a runner to third in the fifth frame, but a strike out and ground out stalled the potential insurance run attack.
The Cougars were able to stretch their lead in the sixth, plating a pair of insurance runs on a single, fielder’s choice, two errors and successful double steal, doubling up Houston once more at 8-4.
BYU worked around a one-out double in the sixth and one-out single in the seventh to close out the series sweep.
