The product of Los Angeles, California recently was named to The Bowerman Watchlist and earned Big 12 Athlete of the Week. Corrigan and his teammates will compete in the 5,000m at Stanford.
"My teammates have set quite a precedent in the 5000 meters and it makes me excited to help contribute to our success this weekend," said Corrigan. "I know all of us have the goal to help BYU cross that line first so it’ll be exciting to race."
The men's field athletes will also head to the west coast to compete at the Triton Invitational Friday through Saturday. Danny Bryant led the Cougars at the Utah Valley Invitational last weekend with two overall event wins in the hammer throw and shot put. Freshman newcomer Sam Jennings also boosts the throwers group with a recent No. 8 program outing in the javelin at the Willie Williams Classic.
