Andersen scores 9.825 at Nationals

As BYU's first individual nationals competitor since 2021, Brynlee Andersen notched a 9.825 on the balance beam.

FORT WORTH, Texas – BYU’s sophomore beam standout Brynlee Andersen competed at the 2025 NCAA Gymnastics Championship Thursday afternoon as the final beam competitor of the day.

As BYU’s lone competitor at nationals, Andersen put up a 9.825, earning her a 16th-place finish to end her sophomore season. The Orem, Utah native notched her 13th score above a 9.825 this season.

With team scores of 197.550 and 197.300, Oklahoma and Missouri advanced to the NCAA Gymnastics Championship Final on Saturday.
