IRVING, Texas — Three members of the 2025 BYU baseball team received postseason honors on Tuesday from the Big 12 Conference, including first baseman Cooper Vest, shortstop Ryder Robinson and catcher Parker Goff, who were each named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.

Vest wrapped up the 2025 regular season ranked in the top five in the Big 12 in home runs (16) and RBIs (58) and hit by pitch (19). In addition, he led the conference in three defensive categories including chances (471), double plays (44) and putouts (438).

The senior from St. George, Utah, who was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Feb. 24, currently leads the Cougars in runs (52), home runs (16), RBI (58), total bases (125) and slugging (.592).

Vest has started every game for BYU over the past two seasons and has played in 148 straight games dating back to March 3, 2023. He ranks 16th all-time at BYU in career starts with his 170th coming Wednesday versus Arizona State. Vest graduated from BYU in April with a degree in exercise and wellness. This is his second post-season award. As a sophomore in 2023, he was named Second Team All-West Coast Conference.

Robinson, a sophomore from American Fork, Utah, currently leads the Cougars in runs scored (52), is second in home runs (11), total base (112) and walks (33), and is third in hits (61) and doubles (14). He was named Big 12 Player of the Week on April 21.

Before transferring to BYU last off-season, Robinson started 43 games at shortstop for TCU as a true freshman, where he hit .215 with seven doubles, two home runs and 20 RBI.

In 2025, Vest and Robinson have been the catalyst behind an opportunistic BYU defense that ranks third in the Big 12 and 26th nationally with a team fielding percentage of .978. The Cougars are also among the top infields in the country at turning double plays with 47 on the year, good for second-best in the Big 12 and 15th nationally. Vest leads the conference in double plays fielded and putouts while his double-play partner Robinson ranks third in assists (158).

Goff, a junior from Herriman, Utah is in his first full season behind the plate for the Cougars. He has started 43 games for BYU in 2025 and is fourth on the team in batting average (.291) and second in on base percentage (.451).  In addition, Goff has scored 36 runs, has 27 RBI, two home runs and eight doubles. He is currently tied for third in the Big 12 in throwing out runners with 10.

Goff has played in 107 games for BYU over the past three seasons and was named to West Coast Conference Commissioner's Silver Honor Roll in 2023.

BYU squares off with ASU in game one of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship at Globe Life Field on Wednesday, May 21.
