PROVO, Utah - BYU men’s and women's swim and dive teams announced their 2025-26 meet schedule on Wednesday.

The Cougars will kick off the season on Saturday, Sept. 6 with the annual alumni meet where former BYU swim and dive team members will return to Provo to compete in the pool. Following the alumni meet, the teams will have their Blue vs. White meet on Friday, Sept. 19. 

The regular season will begin as the Cougars travel to Grand Junction, Colorado for the CMU shootout. 

Two weeks later, BYU will send four men’s and four women’s distance swimmers to Long Beach, California to compete in the MPSF Open Water Championship. In addition, BYU will also send three men’s and three women’s distance swimmers to the CSCAA Open Water Championship in Sarasota, Florida on Dec. 13. 

The regular season will continue as the Cougars travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete against UNLV on Nov. 7. Swimmers will then compete on November 20-22 in Greensboro, North Carolina for the Wolfpack Elite Invite while divers compete at the USC Invitational in Los Angeles, California on the same days. 

The rest of the regular season will include trips to Denver; Honolulu; Tempe, Arizona; and Colorado Springs, Colorado. BYU will host two meets at the Richards Building Pool in Provo, Utah, with the first on Jan. 23-24 as a dual meet against Air Force and CMU. The final regular-season meet is scheduled for Feb. 6, when BYU hosts Utah.

Postseason competition will begin on Feb. 24 for the Big 12 Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina and will conclude on Feb. 28. Following the conference championships, qualifying divers may compete at the NCAA Zone E Qualifier in Flagstaff, Arizona on March 6-11. Qualifying swimmers will compete in the McAuley Aquatic Center at Georgia Tech for the NCAA Championships on March 18-21 (women’s) and March 25-28 (men’s).

BYU swim teams welcome back three All-Big 12 performers from the 2024-25 season in Tanner Nelson, Lucy Warnick and Victoria Schreiber. The dive team also welcomes back three All-Big 12 athletes in Alexia Jackson Hansen, Marti Llop and Peter Etzold

In addition to the returning All-Big 12 athletes, BYU head coach Tamber McAllister returns for her second season at the helm of the Cougars after winning women’s co-coach of the year in the Big 12 alongside Arizona State coach Herbie Behm last season.
