LES OLSON IT BEST OF UTAH
Utah has kept a clean slate through the first six years of competition, taking the top spot on the podium at every Best of Utah competition. BYU is coming off a season where it finished ranked No. 30 in the nation and was home to the Big 12 Co-Event Specialist of the Year in Brynlee Andersen. Andersen leads the returning Cougs after becoming BYU’s first national qualifier since 2021 (beam).
The Utes are coming off their fifth-straight Final Four appearance at the NCAA Championships. The 2026 roster contains four All-Americans, led by 10-time All-American Makenna Smith and four-time All-American Avery Neff.
Utah State is coming off its run as the Mountain West Conference champions and ended last season ranked 34th. The Aggies return three first-team All Mountain West performers in Avery Bibbey, Nyla Morabito and Sydney Jelen.
Southern Utah finished last year with an impressive No. 21 ranking in the nation and won its third consecutive conference championship. Niya Randolph returns as the Flippin Birds standout gymnast as she was named the 2025 MPSF Gymnast of the Year. She ranked 36th in the country in the all-around.
All four programs qualified to the NCAA Regional round, which marks the top 36 teams in the country.
