IRVING, Texas — BYU women's volleyball freshman outside hitter Suli Davis picked up her second Big 12 Rookie of the Week nod of the season, the league announced on Tuesday morning.

Davis paced the Cougars offensively with 48 kills last week, averaging 5.33 per set. She posted a career-high 27 kills at Cincinnati on Wednesday night, which is second most by a Cougar freshman in the rally-scoring era, and was a dig shy of her third double-double on the year.

The Euless, Texas/Hau'ula, Hawai'i product followed that up with 21 kills at West Virginia, her 13th match with double-digit kills in a row. She also contributed 13 digs, four blocks as well as a pair of aces and assists across the pair of matches.

The award is the Cougars' second weekly Big 12 honor of the season and BYU's sixth Rookie of the Week award since joining the Big 12. Setter Alex Bower (2024) and middle blocker Mia Lee (2023) were both honored twice during their respective freshman seasons.
