The Cougars are headed into race-day after taking 4th at the Big 12 Championship two weeks prior. With all five BYU scorers finishing in the top 30 the Cougars scored 102 points behind Colorado’s 87 points, Iowa State’s 43 points and Oklahoma State’s 20 points.
"Everybody seems to be healthy and we are going to go in and do what we do." head Coach Ed Eyestone said, "Regionals is not about winning, it's about qualifying and advancing to the NCAA National Championship. I think we have a good chance to be in the battle for the top 4 at Nationals."
The defending National Champion Cougars are ranked No. 10 in the USTFCCCA National Coaches poll behind Conference rivals Oklahoma State at No. 1, Iowa State at No. 2 and Colorado at No. 6.
