PROVO, Utah — Women’s golf head coach Carrie Roberts announced the signing of Washington native Tatum Otto on Wednesday.
Otto, the No. 4 ranked Washington golfer in her class, will join the Cougars for the 2026-27 season after she graduates from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Washington.
“We are super excited about Tatum joining our team,” said Roberts. “She’s a great fit for who we are not just because of her talent, but because of her character. She’s competitive, driven and cares deeply about her teammates. I know she’ll help elevate our team both on and off the course. On the course, she’s shown she can win and go low, and we’re confident she’ll make an immediate impact at the collegiate level.”
Otto helped Bellevue win three consecutive Washington 3A state championships where she finished as an individual runner-up in the 2025 Washington 3A Girls Golf State Championship. Two weeks prior, Otto led her school to a team win in the KingCo 3A Golf Championship while taking home the individual title in that event.
This year, Otto won in the girls’ division in the Washington Junior Golf Association (WJGA) State Match Play and was runner-up in the PNGA Junior Amateur. Otto also won WJGA’s Joel Dahmen Invitational in 2024 and was runner-up in the WJGA Western Open.
The Bellevue native represented Washington on the elite Girls Junior Americas Cup team.
