NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recognized BYU men’s cross country as an All-Academic Team, while four Cougars earned individual All-Academic honors Thursday afternoon.
BYU recorded a team GPA of 3.65 to earn the award with four Cougars recognized as All-Academic athletes.

To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must post a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and either finish in the top 25 or top 10 percent at the NCAA Regional Championships, or earn All-America honors at the NCAA Championships.
