PROVO, Utah - BYU men’s tennis returns home this weekend for a regional match against the Idaho State Bengals (3-3) on Saturday at noon at the Indoor Tennis Courts, with a chance to go 9-0 for the first time in the 21st century.

After sweeping their road trip in New England last weekend, the Cougars improved to 8-0 as they continue to prepare for conference play beginning in March.

The Cougars have gone through a successful winter season, primarily off successful singles performances, as the team has won 81.3% of its solo matches to this point, with Adam Chodur winning seven in a row, as well as Tygen Goldammer holding an 8-0 record, while Hardy Owen (5-0) and Caden Hasler (3-0) remain undefeated.

The Bengals, who are coming to Utah with an even record, will take on Utah State on Friday before coming to BYU. Each of Idaho State's last three matches have ended in sweeps, as they swept Colorado Mesa 7-0 in back-to-back matches before losing in the same fashion to UNLV in Las Vegas last weekend. BYU has a 22-5 record against Idaho State, including 6-1 wins in each of the past three years.

A livestream of all four courts will be available starting an hour before the match as well as live stats.
