TUCSON, Arizona — After a brief four-game home stand, BYU baseball hits the road again for a Big 12 three-game series at Arizona, April 23-25 at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson.
BROADCAST PLANS. All three games will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and on the BYU Radio app, BYUradio.org, SiriusXM 143 and 107.9 FM in Utah County. The Thursday and Friday games are both scheduled for 7 p.m. MT (6 p.m. local), with the final game on Saturday at 2 p.m. MT (1 p.m. local).
MATCHUP PREVIEW. BYU enters the weekend series at 20-19 on the year and 9-9 in Big 12 play. The Cougars are tied for sixth place in the conference with Kansas State, Baylor and Utah with twelve Big 12 games left to play. Arizona is 15-24 on the year and 6-12 in Conference play, currently tied with Texas Tech for 13th place.
SERIES HISTORY. BYU and Arizona will meet for the 36th time on Thursday. The Wildcats hold a 25-10 lead in the all-time series. Seventeen of the previous 34 meetings between BYU and Arizona came as members of the Western Athletic Conference from the 1963 to 1978.
The two teams met once again as conference opponents during the 2025 Big 12 baseball season with the Wildcats winning the season series 2-1 in Provo. BYU and UA met again in the quarterfinals of the 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship at Globe Life Field, where Arizona won, 4-1. UA went on to capture the Big 12 Championship, the Eugene NCAA Regional and the Chapel Hill NCAA Super Regional before advancing to College Baseball World Series.
UP NEXT. After the three-game series in Tucson, BYU will then head north to Phoenix for a 2 p.m. Monday game with Grand Canyon at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark.
