STANFORD, Calif. – BYU’s 800-meter squad competed in the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track & Angell Field on Saturday.
Tessa Buswell finished fifth in the 800m invitational, clocking a 2:02.39, just 0.13 off her outdoor best in the event. She ranks eighth in Cougar history.
Krystie Solomon-Jensen and Kylie Olsen competed in the second section of the event, finishing first and second with times of 2:05.38 and 2:06.46, respectively. Anne Elise Packard lined up in the third section and posted a new outdoor best of 2:06.72, taking second.
Carlee Hansen-Thompson, Carmen Alder and Taylor Rohatinsky also competed in the fourth section of the event, each posting a career best. Hansen-Thompson took second with a 2:05.57, Alder finished third in 2:05.92 and Rohatinsky clocked a 2:06.77.
