Cougars hit the road for three meet weekend

PROVO, Utah – BYU men’s track and field travels to Azusa, California for the Brian Clay Multis on April 9-10, Ogden for the Weber State Spring Open on April 10 and Salt Lake City for the Utah Spring Classic on April 11.

Ben Barton and Kaden Passey travel to California to compete in the Decathlon in sections A and C respectively. Barton and Passey will compete in the 100-meter, long jump, shot put, high jump and 400-meter dash on Thursday, April 9. They will then finish out with the 110-meter hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin and 1500-meter Friday, April 10.

Weber State Spring Open / Chick Hislop Outdoor Track / Ogden, Utah / April 10

The Cougars send the throwers and jumpers and sprints group to Ogden with Erik Bryant, Mark Bryant and Tyler Poole each competing in the discus. Erik Bryant will also make an appearance in the hammer throw.

Logan Hubler will make his 400-meter season debut competing alongside Ty Oustrich. Hayden Gribble and Connor Saunders are set to compete in the high jump.

Utah Spring Classic / McCarthy Family Track and Field / Salt Lake City, Utah / April 11

The throwers and hurdles group will travel to Salt Lake City with the Bryant brothers and Poole making another appearance this time in the shot put. Gribble is set to compete in the javelin throw and Hubler in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles.
