PROVO, Utah – Jane Hedengren clocked a 4:31.10 in the mile invite at the Robison Invitational, ranking as the sixth-fastest time in NCAA history.
The true freshman achieved the mark in her first outdoor mile. Hedengren’s second split was her fastest at 1:06.82. Teammate Taylor Lovell recorded the eighth-fastest time in NCAA history with a 4:31.53, highlighted by a 1:07.41 anchor split. The pair placed second and third in the event.
Jenna Hutchins added a personal best of 4:32.73 to finish fourth, while Taylor Rohatinsky took fifth in 4:34.57.
Krystie Solomon-Jensen placed third in the 800-meter, matching her personal best of 2:03.43. Kylie Olsen and Rohatinsky rounded out the top five in 2:06.26 and 2:06.66, respectively, with Rohatinsky recording a new personal best.
