SURPRISE, Arizona — BYU third baseman Easton Jones was named to the All-Tournament Team of the 2026 Big 12 Baseball Tournament presented by Allstate.
The senior from American Fork, Utah, wrapped up the final two games of his BYU career at the Tournament in Surprise, Arizona, going 3-for-6 (.500) with two home runs and a triple, to go along with four walks. Jones led the Cougars with five RBI and scored four runs with an on-base percentage of .700, while slugging 1.833 over two games. He led No. 9 seed BYU to a 18-8, seven-inning win over No. 12 seed Texas Tech in the opening game of the tournament, before the Cougars dropped the second game to No. 8 seed Baylor, 13-9.
Game two of the Big 12 tournament was the 172nd start of Jones’ career, tying him for 17th all-time at BYU. It was also his 183rd game as a Cougar, good for 24th all-time. Jones concluded his four years at BYU with 33 career home runs, which tied the 26th highest total by a Cougar. In addition, he had 38 doubles, five triples, 119 RBI and scored 108 runs with a slugging percentage of .478 during his four years at BYU from 2023-26.
Jones will graduate from BYU in June with a degree in exercise and wellness.
