EUGENE, Ore. – Zoey Bonds sits in 12th place in the heptathlon following Friday's events at the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Hayward Field.
Bonds placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.60, earning 1,036 points to begin the competition. The Las Vegas native then nearly matched her career best in the high jump, clearing 1.75m/5 feet-8.75 for the fourth-best mark of the event. Through the opening two events, Bonds was in fourth place.
In the shot put, the senior recorded a throw of 11.31m/37-1.25, then clocked 24.71 in the 200 meters. Following the first day of competition, Bonds is in 12th place with 3,482 points.
