Marlboro, NJ – BYU gymnastics had 17 gymnasts named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans, the association announced Wednesday.
To be named a WCGA Scholastic All-American, a gymnast must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Cougars combined for a 3.58 GPA, with 77 percent of the team being represented on the WCGA All-American list.
Overall, the association had 69 programs that averaged a 3.5 or higher GPA, with 1,195 individuals earning that mark. An impressive 293 student-athletes posted a 4.0 GPA. The average GPA across all reported student-athletes was 3.6339.
Kylie Eaquinto graduated as a four-time recipient of this award, while Alilah Alvarado, Brynlee Andersen-Broekman, Chloee Hoke, Mya Kirkham and Ava Jorgensen are now three-time recipients. Addilyn Glazier, Deb Silva, Gracie Long and Daisy Stephenson are two-time recipients while Kaetlyn Tenesch, Emilie Chandler, Scarlett Sonnenberg, Audrey Thomas, Ellie Ermisch, Zoe Hale and Payton Fuller are first-time recipients.
