NEW ORLEANS – BYU women’s cross country ranked No. 4 in the USTFCCCA national preseason poll, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Cougars rank fourth in the nation after claiming the runner-up spot in the NCAA Championships last year. They also rank No. 2 in the Mountain Region rankings behind New Mexico.
This year’s team features All-American and last year’s NCAA runner-up Jane Hedengren, as well as Nelah Roberts, Taylor Rohatinsky, Taylor Lovell and Zariel Macchia who all contributed to last season’s second place finish.
