PROVO, Utah - No. 3 BYU women's cross country will travel to Stillwater, Okla. to compete in the Cowboy Jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 7:15 a.m. MDT.
This will be the second race of the Cougars' season, after dominating at the UVU Invitational, placing first and claiming seven of the top 10 finishers. The women's team moved from No. 4 to No. 3 in the USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

BYU will be seeking its second consecutive win at the Cowboy Jamboree after securing first place last year with 34 points. Senior Lexi Goff-Thompson is looking for another top 10 finish after placing ninth last year, clocking 20:41.2.
This weekend's lineup will be highlighted by Jane Hedengren, who placed first at the UVU Invitational and set a course record, as well as top 10 finishers Jenna Hutchins, Taylor Lovell, Lexi Goff-Thompson, Nelah Roberts, Zariel Macchia, Karrie Baloga and Vanessa Alder.
Addie Meldrum, Tessa Buswell, Emerald Kehr and Macy Wingard are also set to represent BYU in the 6k on Saturday. Freshmen Lily Alder, Millie Bayles and Lilly Beshears will make their collegiate cross country debut on the Greiner Family OSU course. The Cougars will return to this same course on Oct. 31 for the Big 12 Championships.
The event will not be streamed, but a live results link will be posted at the end of the week.
