- Proud mom to Ethan (he is our miracle); he is now married and has his own family down in Queen Creek, AZ
- Proud grandma: they call me "GG" (for Grandma Gunn)
- Proud mom to her dog, Maverick (Aussie Labradoodle)
- Registered Native American (Ojibwe - Chippewa in Great Lakes Region)
- "Mama Candace" loves her athletes and feels very blessed to have the opportunity to work here at BYU in Athletics
