- Went 21-9 in 2013, finishing in the semifinals of the NCAA tournament
- Led the 2013 Cougars to a finish in the championship match of the NCAA tournament
- Collected 50 wins through two seasons of coaching
- Coached BYU to a 26-5 overall record in 2013
- Named AVCA National Coach of the Year and MPSF Coach of the Year in 2013
- Collected a 24-7 record in his first season coaching in 2012, good for third in the MPSF
Before BYU
- Worked as an administrator and coach/clinician at Gold Medal Squared volleyball camps from 1998-2011
- Worked as a volunteer assistant coach for BYU women's volleyball from 2009-11
- Worked as manufacturing engineer, working with companies like IBM, Boeing, General Electric, General Motors, Merck and the Department of Defense
- Helped out as a play-by-play announcer for men's and women's volleyball for the BYU Sports Network
