Responsibilities
Liz Darger is the senior associate athletic director/senior woman administrator (SWA) at BYU. She serves as the sport administrator for women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s gymnastics, the spirit squads, and men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field. She also oversees human resources, student-athlete welfare, gender equity and serves as a campus Title IX liaison. She serves on the West Coast Conference (WCC) Executive Council and the WCC Championships and Sport Administration Cabinet. She is also a member of the NCAA Common Ground Leadership Team, which aims to establish inclusive and respectful athletics environments for participants of all sexual orientations, gender identities and religious beliefs.

- Sister, Emily Darger Deans was on the Athletic Marketing staff from 2002-2006 and was Director of Athletic Marketing at BYU from 2006-2007; Brother-in-law, Logan Deans, played running back at BYU from 2001-2004; Brother, Preston Darger, was a Sports Marketing Coordinator at BYU from 2009-2014
- Enjoys showtunes and Broadway musicals, pickleball, boating on Bear Lake and traveling with family and friends
- Is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is currently serving on the Young Women General Advisory Council of the Church.
