2006-2008
Sammi Stuart enters her first season as the Director of Operations for the BYU women's volleyball team this year after serving as the team manager in 2006. Her duties include breaking down opponent film and tracking statistics during practices and matches for the Cougar coaching staff.
A native of Woodruff, Utah, Stuart attended Rich High School where she graduated with an Associate's Degree through concurrent enrollment. Stuart played basketball and volleyball at RHS, helping the Rebel volleyball team win the 1A state title all four years while earning 1A MVP honors from the Deseret News in 2002.
After receiving the Governor's Scholarship, Stuart continued her education at Utah State University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science in 2006. She also played basketball for the Aggies from 2003-05 and was given the team's Offseason Conditioning Award following the 2004 season.
An outdoors enthusiast, Stuart enjoys fly-fishing, softball, riding horses, camping, reading and helping her father and three brothers on the family's ranch. She is currently working on a Master's Degree in Sport Pedagogy at BYU.
