PROVO, Utah – From May 11-16, BYU athletics will host Hanging with the Cougs, a virtual and social media celebration for Cougar fans all around the world.
During the week-long Hanging with the Cougs event, fans will have the opportunity to interact with student-athletes and coaches, learn a dance with the Cougarettes, improve their golf game, get ready for their next road race and test their knowledge of BYU athletics trivia.
Some of the best games and competitions in Cougar sports history will also be broadcast each day on Facebook. Look for notes and nuggets about the players and teams involved in the competitions throughout the broadcasts. Games and competitions will be streamed on the corresponding team Facebook account.
Friday, May 15, is 'Rep the Y' day for which fans are encouraged to rep the Y by wearing their BYU gear at home. Fans can also order Cougar Tails from BYU Dining Services and pick them up on Friday at LaVell Edwards Stadium. For more details, visit cougartails.byu.edu.
Throughout the week, BYUtv will air BYU Sports Nation Play by Replay specials each day at 10 a.m. MDT, including the premier of the Play by Replay of BYU football's dramatic 30-27 overtime win over No. 24 USC in 2019.
