STOCKTON, California (Oct. 31, 2014) – Led by senior Cole Ogden, BYU men’s golf is in fifth place after the second day of competition at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational on Friday.
The Cougars are in a tie for fifth place with Fresno State, shooting two-over-par. Denver took first place (-5) after the second round, while fellow West Coast Conference teams Pacific and Santa Clara are in seventh and 10th respectively.
Ogden finished the second round in a six-way tie for second place, shooting four-under-par.
“I played pretty solid,” Ogden said. “If all five of us can improve in the last round, then we have a chance of winning.”
