BYU men's golf competes at MacKenzie Invitational

PROVO, Utah – Coming off its best finish of the fall season, the BYU men’s golf team will head back to California Oct. 12-13 to participate in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational at Meadow Club in Fairfax, California.

Sixteen teams from various conferences will play in the tournament, with University of California-Berkeley hosting the event. Along with BYU, West Coast Conference members Pepperdine, San Diego and San Francisco are also participating.

Teams will play three rounds for a total of 54 holes, playing 36 holes, Monday followed by the final 18, Tuesday.

Behind Tommy Higham’s lowest career round score (67), BYU placed ninth in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational last season. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Cougars are competing in the event.
