BYU track and field set to host holiday track camp

PROVO, Utah – The BYU track and field teams will be hosting a Holiday Track Camp for high schoolers to attend featured clinics taught by BYU coaches and alumni on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Smith Fieldhouse.

The Holiday Track Camp is for high school students ages 14-18 and will include clinics for sprints, hurdles and various field events. The high jump clinic will be taught by BYU associate head coach, Mark Robison. Sprints and jumps coach Stephani Perkins will lead the sprints clinic. The hurdles clinic will be taught by Kyle Grossarth. Former Olympian, Nik Arrhenius will instruct the throws clinic. The pole vault clinic will be taught by two-time All-American Victor Weirich.

Clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch included at the Smith Fieldhouse Indoor Track and Annex. Registration and more information is available online at byusportscamps.com. Participants can also register at the door on the day of the camp.
