LAS VEGAS – BYU women’s golf finished in ninth place at the Rebel Beach Intercollegiate following second and third rounds of play on Tuesday.

The Cougars entered the day tied for third after 18-holes, but struggled to play consistent golf throughout the second and third rounds and finished the tournament with a 54-hole total of 911. Tulsa won the Rebel Beach at 887, followed by Fresno State in second at 889 and Gonzaga third at 893.

BYU junior Allysha Mae Mateo once again recorded the best individual finish for the Cougars, tying for 15th with three others from Gonzaga, UNLV and Colorado State.
