CEDAR CITY, Utah – After scoring a 9.900 on the floor routine against Utah State, Raquel Willman Hatch was named the Specialist of the Week by the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Championship.
Hatch shares the honor with Boise State’s Ciera Perkins who also recorded a 9.900 on the floor routine. Moriah Martin from Denver received the MRGC Gymnast of the Week Award.
Last weekend against Utah State, Hatch took the top honor with an all-around score of 39.225. She also tied two season highs with a 9.825 on vault and a 9.800 on beam.
The senior was also named the Gymnast of the Week on Feb. 3 for her performance against Denver.
