PROVO -- Coming off its best team score of the season at Arizona, the No. 22 BYU women's gymnastics team returns home to take on the Boise State Broncos Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Smith Fieldhouse. It will be the first of two-straight home meets for the Cougars.

"We're expecting a great meet," BYU coach Brad Cattemole said. "The girls have been working hard and preparing well."

BYU moved up four spots to No. 22 in the national rankings released Monday morning. The rankings are based on a team's Regional Qualifying Score for NCAA Regionals at the end of the season. The Cougars' 193.945 RQS is behind only No. 6 Utah among the four teams in the state.

"It's all about your score at this point," Cattermole said. "Who you're competing against is not as important as hitting your routines."

After struggling on bars against Utah, BYU recorded a season-high 49.150 on its way to a season-best 194.575 against No. 2 Florida and No. 15 Arizona last Friday. Four Cougars recorded season highs on the event, including Kacie Capra (9.875), Cassie Myers (9.850), Jennifer Matthews (9.825) and Lisa Willis (9.775). Capra also led BYU on floor with a 9.825.

No. 37 Boise State is coming off a 194.500 performance against Sacramento State last Friday, in which the Broncos recorded a season-best 49.000 on vault. Boise State recorded its highest team score of the season against BYU the last time the two teams met back on Feb. 20. The Broncos are led by Kea Cuaresma, Lindsay Ward and Taylor Jacob in the all-around and Katie Dinsmore on vault.

Start time for the meet is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Smith Fieldhouse. A live stats feed will be available on the women's gymnastics homepage at byucougars.com.
