OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Mary Lake of BYU women's volleyball was named to the Senior CLASS Award All-American Second Team on Wednesday.

An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.

Lake is a three-time AVCA All-America honoree and was named the West Coast Conference's top defender each of the last three seasons. The Cougars' all-time digs leader, this past summer Lake played on the U.S. Senior National Team as Team USA won the Volleyball Nations League and qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
