As we plan for the 2026 BYU Football season, we’re thankful for the passion and support of Cougar Nation. Big 12 competition has raised the stakes, and Cougar Nation continues to bring unmatched energy to LaVell Edwards Stadium.

In order to align our football operations with every other BYU ticketed sport, we will be reseating the entire stadium (sidelines and endzones) for the 2026 season and annually thereafter. This means all existing and prospective season ticket holders will have the chance to select seats each year, based on membership level and priority points. Priority points reflect both your philanthropic support of BYU Athletics and your past qualifying ticket purchases.

This updated process brings football ticket operations in line with all other BYU sports, ensuring a consistent and transparent system for Cougar fans. Please note that the season ticket selection process is subject to change as industry standards and BYU Athletics’ strategic priorities evolve.

SEAT SELECTION PROCESS

Season ticket holders from 2025 and members of the public who fill out the interest form will receive email communications with their assigned ‘selection time’—the date and window when they can choose and purchase seats for the upcoming season.

How do I get a season ticket seat selection time?

  • If you were a season ticket holder for the 2025 season, you will automatically be assigned a selection time and it will be communicated to you via email.
  • If you held season tickets in 2025 and want to join or upgrade your Cougar Club membership, you can do so online now—or fill out the interest form and we’ll call to walk you through it and answer your questions.
  • If you were not a season ticket holder for the 2025 season, but would like to be assigned a selection time, fill out this interest form.

How is my selection time determined?

  1. Your Cougar Club or Corporate Partner membership level
  2. The number of priority points you have within your membership level
  3. The general public will select after Cougar Club and Corporate Partners based on their priority points relative to other public patrons

What is the Cougar Club?

The Cougar Club is the official booster organization for BYU Athletics. Your donation helps pay for BYU Athletics expenses including student-athlete scholarships, recruiting expenses, and funding the facilities and programs associated with each of BYU's 21 athletic teams. The Cougar Club is the strongest avenue for individuals to earn season ticket selection priority, ticket presales and other promotions.
