The Cougars are coming off four games last week that included a 7-4 win over rival Utah on Tuesday at Miller Park and three close losses on the road at Omaha (2-1, 6-5 and 4-1).
BYU and Dixie State met earlier this year in St. George on March 16 with the Trailblazers winning 5-4 on a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth at Bruce Hurst Field.

In 16 seasons, he compiled a record of 605-249 (.708), while leading DSU to four NJCAA College World Series appearances and a NJCAA National Championship in 2004.
Following Tuesday’s home game, the Cougars will travel to Spokane, Washington to take on Gonzaga in a WCC three-game series April 22-24 at Patterson Complex. The Zags are 22-13 on the year and in first place in WCC play at 11-4.
