TUCSON, Ariz. — The Cougars fought against multiple ranked opponents on Thursday, Feb. 27, ending their win streak with a 4-1 loss to the Wildcats.

Huang and Tan fought to give BYU the upper hand in doubles, but they were unable to finish their match with two doubles losses from doubles pairs Bluestein/Kovick and Levelston/Tullis. Arizona took the lead 1-0 going into the round of singles play.

Smith and Bluestein put the Wildcats within one match of securing the match, but Huang took her match in two sets, giving the Cougars their first point.
After losing the first set, both Levelston and Tan made strong comebacks to win the second sets 6-1. Despite the comeback, Tan lost the third set 6-3, sealing Arizona's victory 4-1.
Kovick and Levelston each left their matches unfinished in the third set.
