PROVO, Utah – The excitement is building as BYU men’s and women’s basketball programs have announced the details for this season’s edition of Marriott Madness and Blue & White game, announced Friday morning.
The opening event of the 2025-26 season is set to take place on Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Marriott Center beginning with the first-ever Party at the Plaza at 4:30 p.m., including a live DJ. Doors open for the public at 5 p.m. with Marriott Madness beginning at 6 p.m.

Head coaches Lee Cummard and Kevin Young will address the fans during the event with both teams being introduced publicly for the first time. The Cougars will face-off in an NBA-All-Star-style 3-point competition, with men’s and women’s players combined on teams.
The men’s team will host its annual Blue-White Scrimmage beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets
The event is free, and seating will be first come, first served. Saving seats is discouraged.
Parking
Lots north of the Marriott Center and BYU Broadcasting Building will be open for parking.
